This place is great!  You may remember it as Just St. Stan's but now it's more.  It's the only microbrewery in Modesto but has evolved into something so much bigger!  Hero's Sport lounge Featuring St. Stan's Brewing Company could be a museum.  Could be? It is.  It has two stories of sports history.  Lining the walls are autographed pictures of racing, football, baseball, hockey and basketball that were custom framed on site.  Or how about a robe Mohammed Ali wore before a fight!  They have other things like this- painter Stephen Holland is one of the most sought after sports artists and Hero's Sports Lounge boasts the largest public viewing collection of Steven Holland Paintings in California.  You have to come down, grab a beer and tour the place.  I could tell you all of collection but it would take too long.  Get down there and check it out for yourself. The further you go into the restaurant the bigger it gets.  The double doors open up to a Martini Bar on the left, the restaurant straight ahead, and video games on the right.  The martini bar stocked with more sports history – Look, the sports stuff was used in place of wall paper.  If you pass by the Martini bar and go straight for the restaurant you come face to face with a huuuge 13 foot big screen T.V. over a stage playing sports most of the time.  On Friday nights at 9 the stage opens up to a D.J. and on Saturdays Hero's plays host to live bands.  This year they were up for the Modesto Area Music Awards for The place to hear live Music.  Hero's Sports Lounge has a full service bar stocking your favorite beers and liquors but features St. Stan's local Brew, now that's beer worth checking out.  .  If drinking's not your thing Hero's has a fully expanded menu including Homemade Pizza, Toasted Subs and Pastas.  If you took a detour to the video games there is a separate room there to hang out and let the kids do their kids stuff with a few quarters while you relaxed on the patio.

     As big as the first floor is and as much as there is to do down stairs, that isn't the end of Hero's Sports Lounge – it has and upstairs, also.  The second floor, yeah, the second floor has more sports with a lounge area to kick back and relax a bit while looking down on the stage and 13 foot big screen.

     If you're into special treatment, Hero's sports lounge has a separate V.I.P. lounge with six flat screens and its own private balcony.  Then there's the Banquet room that has an 8x8 projection TV for well, banquets… or meetings, or like bachelorette parties with pillow fights… but I digress.  The TV can hook up power point if you're having a meeting… or video if you really are having a bachelorette pillow fight.

     Hey, if you've got to sit through a meeting, it ought to be here.  You really ought to be here at Hero's Sports Lounge, you could call it a meeting and just have a private seating, drink St. Stan's have lunch and crank the unbelievable sound system while watching racing videos.  It even has wireless internet connection available.  The whole restaurant has 17 Satellite TV's.
